Rep. Fattah Commends Senators Landrieu and Casey as Senate Endorses Small Business Lending Program
July 23, 2010Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA), Chairman of the Congressional Urban Caucus, issues the following statement concerning Senate action on a $30 billion amendment to authorize loans for small business: "The Senate is to be commended for taking a significant step toward loosening credit and spurring recovery for small businesses nationwide. As part of the broader small business bill, senators moved ahead Thursday to authorize $30 billion in loans that essentially mean Main Street bankers helping Main Street businesses."
