Sixty Soldiers Re-Enlisted in U.S. Army Reserve in Special Annual Ceremony on Capitol Hill
April 23, 2010Sixty Soldiers in the U.S. Army Reserve were honored today in the fifth annual National Capitol Reenlistment Ceremony on Capitol Hill to mark the U.S. Army Reserve's 102nd anniversary. Among the Soldiers reenlisting were a Silver Star recipient, combat veterans, a Hurricane Katrina volunteer and an expectant mother. In the days prior to the ceremony, the 60 Soldiers and their families toured the Pentagon, the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, and witnessed a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
