Amnesty International Immigration Attorney and Expert on Refugees Available to Provide Analysis and Comment Regarding Current Haitian Immigration Issues
January 26, 2010Sarnata Reynolds, Amnesty International USA's advocacy and policy director for refugee and migrants' rights, is available to the media to provide current analysis and commentary regarding the Haitian crisis and surrounding issues. Sarnata serves as the Vice-Chair of Refugee Council USA and chaired the Iraqi Refugee Working Group. She provides testimony before Congress regularly and has discussed the indefinite detention of stateless children in the United States before the Human Rights and Children's Caucuses. In the past, she represented asylum seekers and immigrants before the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States District Courts and Executive Office for Immigration Review.
