Former U.S. Security Aide in New York Times Op-Ed: Stop the Infighting and Let ICE Investigate Drug Crimes Now
June 16, 2009Through an Op-Ed appearing in today's New York Times, a former U.S. Homeland Security advisor has called on the Obama Administration to quickly give U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents the authority to conduct drug investigations. ICE is the lead investigative arm for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and can investigate any drug crime with a nexus to the border ... except drug crimes. Full release.
