Pelosi: In Jordan, We Build on 60 Years of Friendship to Work Together for Peace in the Middle East
May 8, 2009Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Rush Holt of New Jersey arrived yesterday in Jordan as part of an official trip to the region, where they were received by Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan. Pelosi and Holt traveled to Qatar today. "I'm very grateful for the hospitality of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, and the friendship shown to all Americans by the people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan," Pelosi said. Full release
