Republican National Committee: Goldman Sachs Echoes CBO Report on Democrat Stimulus Plan
January 26, 2009The following was released today by the Republican National Committee: Goldman Sachs Economist Alec Phillips Said Preliminary Estimates Show That Only $250 Billion Of The $825 Billion Stimulus Will Make It Into The Economy In 2009. "'As the size of the overall package grows, estimates of the amount of stimulus Congress will provide appear to be shrinking,' said Goldman Sachs economist Alec Phillips.
