Pelosi on Appointments of Members to Serve on House Ethics Committee
January 22, 2009The House Democratic Caucus today approved the nominations of the following Members to serve on the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct in the 111(th) Congress: Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren of California as Chair of the committee, Congressman Ben Chandler of Kentucky, Congressman G.K. Butterfield of North Carolina, Congresswoman Kathy Castor of Florida, and Congressman Peter Welch of Vermont. "Each of these Members appointed to serve on the Ethics Committee has shown strong commitment to the integrity of the House of Representatives.
