National League of Cities Congratulates President Obama
January 20, 2009Kathleen M. Novak, president of the National League of Cities, mayor, Northglenn, Colo., released the following statement on the Inauguration of President Barack Obama: "The National League of Cities (NLC) congratulates President Barack Obama on his historic inauguration. President Obama's personal history demonstrates his understanding of the critical contribution cities and towns make to our nation's prosperity.
