Demos Supports Creation of White House Task Force on Working Families
December 23, 2008This week, the incoming Obama administration announced the creation of a new "White House Task Force on Working Families" to examine and raise the standard of living of America's middle class working families. In response to the announcement of this new task force, to be chaired by Vice-President Biden, the public policy center Demos released the following statement from Tamara Draut, Vice President of Policy and Programs and long-time director of Demos' Economic Opportunity Program.
