AmeriDream Congratulates President-elect's Housing Secretary Nominee
December 17, 2008Ann Ashburn, President of AmeriDream, Inc., today congratulated Shaun Donovan for being named president-elect Barack Obama's nominee for Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Mr. Donovan most recently served as Commissioner of Housing Preservation and Development in New York City. "President-elect Obama correctly stated this weekend that we need to move past the stale arguments that say low-income Americans shouldn't even try to own a home," said Ashburn.
