Republican National Committee: Friend Update Added to 'BarackBook'
October 7, 2008The Republican National Committee (RNC) today added a new friend update to its social networking Web site, http://www.BarackBook.com. The most recent friend update includes Barack Obama's notable association with Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd, who received sweetheart loans from Countrywide Financial and has long resisted tighter regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. In just four short years in the U.S. Senate, Obama has received more money from Fannie and Freddie than any other Senator in the past two decades -- coming in second only to Dodd. Full release
