Governor Rendell Enters 'Friendly Wager' With Florida Governor Crist Over World Series
October 22, 2008Governor Edward G. Rendell today accepted Florida Governor Charlie Crist's friendly wager over theoutcome of the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays. When the Phillies win, Governor Crist will send Governor Rendell stone crab claws and a box of oranges. Should the Rays somehow prevail, Governor Rendell will send Governor Crist a Philly cheesesteak and soft pretzels. Full release.
