Dressed in a yellow hard hat covered with McCain-Palin stickers, wearing an orange high-visibility vest, Munoz carried a hand-lettered sign that said CONSTRUCTION WORKER FOR McCAIN. He got a coveted spot in the bleachers directly behind McCain, where he could be seen in the camera shot along with the guy holding the sign that said PHIL THE BRICK LAYER and the woman with the ROSE THE TEACHER banner. Obama Abandoned Pledge To Seek Agreement To Accept Public Financing Alongside His Republican Opponent: In Response To A Midwest Democracy Network Questionnaire, Obama Said He Would Accept Public Funding In The General Election. Question: "If you are nominated for President in 2008 and your major opponents agree to forgo private funding in the general election campaign, will you participate in the presidential public financing system?" Obama: "Yes. I have been a long-time advocate for public financing of campaigns combined with free television and radio time as a way to reduce the influence of moneyed special interests." One in four Americans experience mental health problems at some point during their lifetime. If John McCain or Barack Obama were to ever need to seek help from their home states through public mental health services, they would be appalled. So too would Joe Biden or Sarah Palin. "Mental health care is an essential part of health care reform. It is an issue that every candidate for public office at every level needs to be addressing in this election," said Michael J. Newsweek Reports That During The Last Presidential Debate, Obama Exaggerated The Angry Outbursts Against Him At McCain-Palin Campaign Rallies, Citing Reports The Secret Service Had Told His Campaign Were Uncorroborated: Obama Cited "All Public Reports" Saying One Attendant Of A McCain-Palin Rally Yelled "Kill Him" At The Mention Of Obama's Name. "During a heated moment in his final presidential debate with Sen. John McCain, Sen. Barack Obama noted the anger of some supporters at rallies for McCain's running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
