Friday Presidential Debate Should Address Bush's Broken Iraq Troop Withdrawal Promises, Assert Ex-White House and Hill Senior Staff Bob Weiner and John Larmett;
September 24, 2008"President Bush's broken Iraq withdrawal promises are keeping the war issue alive," assert former Clinton White House and House Government Operations spokesman Bob Weiner and former Senate and House press secretary John Larmett in a statement today. "This fact, little reported, must be a central aspect of Friday's Presidential debate on foreign policy as Americans consider the credibility of the Iraq plans of the two candidates, one who wants to continue existing policy and the other who wants to end it."
