ADAPT wasted no time challenging Policymakers on the housing crisis for persons with disabilities with low incomes. After setting up a tent city at HUD headquarters, ADAPT sent 100 activists to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) offices in Washington, D.C., and another hundred to a Sen. When the nation's founding fathers signed the original U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787 they changed the course of history. After the biggest stock sell- off in seven years, Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama took aim at the Bush administration in an exclusive BLOOMBERG TELEVISION(R) interview last night. Senator Obama accused the Bush administration of being "absent" and failing to regulate the nation's financial markets adequately.
