Pelosi Statement on President Bush Signing Into Law the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act
August 14, 2008Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after President Bush signed into law the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act passed by Congress late last month. The legislation gives the Consumer Product Safety Commission the resources, authority, and oversight it needs to protect children from lead, dangerous toys, and other unsafe products. Full release
