Friend Updates Added to 'BarackBook'
August 11, 2008The Republican National Committee (RNC) today launched new friend updates to its social networking Web site, http://www.BarackBook.com . The most recent updates include Barack Obama's associations with recently jailed Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick; Penny Pritzker, who serves as the Obama campaign's national finance chair and played a role in subprime lending that led to the fall of Superior Bank, leaving hundreds of clients without part of their savings; and ACORN, a voter-registration organization that has been accused of or implicated in voter-fraud schemes in numerous states. ACORN has endorsed Obama and pledged to spend $35 million registering voters this fall. Full release
