Economists and Industry Leaders Disappointed at EPA's Refusal to Provide Relief From Food to Fuel Mandates; Call on Congress to Act
August 7, 2008Today, economists and leaders from the livestock, restaurant, beverage and food industries expressed disappointment at the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) decision to refuse an urgent request by Texas Governor Rick Perry for relief from the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) which is contributing to record food price inflation.
