Break out those pencils and scantrons again, its time for another Pop Quiz. Following McCain's claim that the fundamentals of our economy are strong and his admission that he lost count of the number of homes he owns, the Democratic National Committee today launched its new Households Edition of its series of John McCain Pop Quizzes. Today's quiz focuses on John McCain's promise of more of the same disastrous economic policies and the questions he can't (or won't) answer about his out of touch agenda. Full release

The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) and the Obama for America campaign today announced that everyday Americans will speak each night of the Convention in primetime to share their voices as the people who have been powering Barack Obama's campaign for change. Over the last few years, Barack Obama has joined with Americans in every state in this country in a positive campaign for change. The stories of the people he has met throughout this long campaign have inspired Barack Obama and helped to shape the policies he will promote as President. Amnesty International USA's (AIUSA) executive director Larry Cox will hold a media availability to discuss the human rights organization's human rights concerns about the U.S.-controlled detention facility at Guantanamo Bay on Monday, August 25, from 11 a.m. to noon. He will be at the Amnesty International USA's life-size Guantanamo prison cell replica exhibit at City of Cuernavaca Park in Denver. The exhibit will be open Sunday, August 24 through Tuesday, August 26. Full release

SIRIUS XM Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI) announced today that its convention coverage on SIRIUS will kick off on Monday, August 25 from the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO. The coverage will include two dedicated channels with live gavel-to-gavel coverage of all the days' speeches in English and Spanish translation. Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Robert M. "Mike" Duncan released the following statement today: "While Barack Obama campaigns on expanding health care, his chief strategist uses political tactics to push poor people away from care at the University of Chicago Medical Center. In an interview published today in the Politico, John McCain was asked how many houses he owns. His answer? He lost track: "I'll have my staff get to you." In other words, in the same day he claimed "the fundamentals of our economy are strong, John McCain admitted that he's lost count of how many houses he owns. In response to McCain's latest out of touch misstep, the Democratic National Committee today released a new web video called "How Many" that features real "man on the street" interviews asking real voters on the streets if they know how many houses they own.
