NCAE President Eddie Davis Urges Legislators to 'Keep Your Promises' at News Conference Today
June 2, 2008Legislative leaders in the North Carolina House of Representatives are about to approve a broken budget on Tuesday, June 3. The North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) hosted a press conference today at 11 a.m. to send a message to the General Assembly to "keep your promises" and not let the public schools of North Carolina -- its educators and students -- suffer the consequences of poorly funded pay raises for educators.
