During his media availability in Baton Rouge today, John McCain told reporters that he "supported every investigation" into what went wrong during Hurricane Katrina. Unfortunately for the people of Louisiana, that is just not true. John McCain voted TWICE to oppose a Congressional commission to examine the federal, state, and local response to the disaster: once in September 2005 and again in February 2006. Full release

Accuracy in Media editor Cliff Kincaid charged today that liberal "media reform" activists, who expect a Democratic victory in the 2008 presidential election, plan to limit conservative access to the media and force stations to put more left-wingers on the air. Kincaid will report the details of the unfolding plan as he covers this week's "National Conference on Media Reform" in Minneapolis. Kincaid's preview of the conference can be found in the column "'Media Reform' Targets Conservatives," at http://www.aim.org. Full release

Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke this morning at the annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Below are the Speaker's remarks: "Good morning. Thank you for that kind introduction, Amy Friedkin. Thank you for your tremendous leadership of AIPAC over the years. Thank you for your friendship to me. Today the Senate passed a Budget Resolution that supports $101 million in additional funding for small business programs that will benefit America's entrepreneurs. Senators John Kerry (D-Mass.) and Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine), the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, worked with the leaders of the Budget Committee to secure the budget increase for the Small Business Administration (SBA), which adds $101 million over the President's request for 2009. Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa threw his support behind a trade bill announced Wednesday that would rewrite the rules of global trade. John McCain is trying to argue that his campaign is about change, saying he has a "record of reform" and has made "efforts to change the way we do business in Washington." With Americans so tired of the Bush Administration, McCain's rhetoric about change makes sense politically, but his record doesn't match his rhetoric. The truth is, Senator McCain voted last year with President Bush 95 percent of the time -- more than any other Senator. Full release

The following is being issued by the Republican National Committee: Sen. Clinton: "And I disagree with his continuing to say that he would meet with some of the worst dictators in the world without preconditions and without the real, you know, understanding of what we would get from it." (Sen. Clinton, NBC Democrat Presidential Debate, Cleveland, OH, 2/26/08) Full release

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, DGA Chairman Joe Manchin and DNC Chairman Howard Dean today issued the following statement: "We have come to the end of an exciting primary and caucus process - the voters have spoken. As the Democratic leaders of the Senate, House of Representatives, the Governors and the Democratic National Committee we commend all of the participants of the 2008 primary process, especially Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, for making this such a transformational election. Because of the enthusiasm our candidates have inspired, our party has brought record numbers of voters to the polls, gained millions of newly registered Democrats and now has advantages in states many thought were difficult to win. We are grateful to the millions of Independents and Republicans who have crossed over to vote for a Democratic candidate for President." Full release
