Watchdog Group Demands McCain Fire Lobbyists Davis and Black
May 30, 2008Campaign Money Watch, a campaign finance watchdog group, released the following statement from its director David Donnelly today regarding Sen. John McCain's continuing refusal to remove lobbyists from positions of power on his campaign: "In the two-and-a-half weeks since Campaign Money Watch launched FireTheLobbyists.com, John McCain has failed to fully address the crisis in his campaign. Despite a handful of departures, as many as 120 lobbyists remain raising money for, staffing, or advising McCain." Full release
