Pelosi: 'We Must Act Immediately to Pass the Voting Rights Act Reauthorization'
June 29, 2006"House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after the People for the American Way delivered to Speaker Hastert and Majority Leader Boehner a petition with 35,000 signatures calling for the immediate reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act:
