Massachusetts Clergy Challenge Roman Catholic Hierarchy to Stop Political Campaign Against Same-Sex Marriage
June 27, 2006"In an open letter to Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley and the Roman Catholic Bishops of Massachusetts, a group of clergy from the state's other leading religious denominations called on the Roman Catholic hierarchy to stop its political campaign to revoke civil marriage rights for same-sex couples.
