Ride Across America to Honor Victims of September 11 and Raise Funds for Memorials
March 7, 2006"Captain Thomas Heidenberger has announced the "Airline Ride Across America," a 33-day cross country fundraising bicycle ride that will honor the 33 flight crew members who lost their lives on the hijacked flights of September 11. Heidenberger, a pilot for over 28 years, lost his wife Michelle, who was the senior flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 77, in the attack on the Pentagon." [Read more]
